The day has come, it's time to move on I'm not afraid to face who I am I would be a liar, if I said to you it didn't hurt. I will never belong to any man but me This really saved my life And you know I'd tell you You don't have to be a genius to feel it And I don't need you to tell me I'm special It just takes me as I am I don't even need a reason Say it to me Music is the light and I have what it is to shine Music is the light and I have what it is to shine I will never bow down to a cross How can I give myself even to Jesus Cause I don't see heaven when I look up above Some say that music is the food of love
2.
Spring Song 03:27
Take your weight and kiss goodbye To heavens gate and sunny skies Hell you know, the feelings grow The feelings great, a bitter taste. I can't describe these feelings inside Help me I'm hurting Is it true we hurt the ones we love the most We live in pain and point the blame When all we have is skin and bone Bloody hearts made of stone Is it all sods law we're waging war. Fields are alive, till the end of our time Daffodills shine I am still waiting for our spring to begin
3.
Clare 03:39
I cannot bear to think about the waste It's a shame I pray that her body lay to rest In peace And if her soul a feather drifting on the breeze Would brush against my skin and float over me I guess she'd be a shadow of a tree Blowing in the wind Clare we'll never see your face or your eyes light up But we'll listen for a sign over our horizon And I may be afraid of what I've yet to know For I know nothing of death only of sadness and loss
4.
With the wildest eyes in the countryside There lies deep in the forest I've often wondered where, she lies deep in there With the dragon in it's lair boys Deep and dark in there boys I've never known a woman like her Oh she had a moon child, moon child, moon child Oh she had a moon child, that's right She loved that wild child boy She's as mad as the mad march hare boys She was the devil incarnate man Singing weirdo incantation Never known a woman like her
5.
Raum 06:12
And now that I know love I never want to leave The warmth of your halo, the freedom that you bring The dreams and the visions, the rivers and the streams The most beautiful movement that's ever come from me Your freedom, your pleasure, the way you hold the light And when they touch you, do they cry? How come you, you don't remember my name Brightest blackbird your song still sings in me You feel like the closest one I've ever known A place to return to, a never ending song Your freedom, your pleasure, the way you hold the light And when they touch you, do they cry? You breathe music, so strange and simple The slightest murmur brings me back to you.

about

These recordings were originally released on the album Fools Give Birth To Angels by Pooka in 2001. Since Natasha and I split up we decided to take the songs we individually wrote for the album and release them as solo projects.
This was the first project where we experimented arranging our songs in an orchestral way rather than just with guitar and piano.
